Thread: 19 firefighters confirmed dead

I'm incredibly saddened for all 19 men that lost their lives in the fire, but after looking at the list I am also incredibly relieved that one of my friends who is a firefighter in the area was not one of the names on that list. I hope no other lives are lost dealing with these summer fires.

So I heard there was one survivor. Has he spoken out yet? Anyone know if his story has made the news?

The only survivor of that particular team was their spotter, you can look up what happened with him in the news.

It's hard to imagine losing 19 brothers in the blink of an eye. I am not a religious man, but I will continue to keep their families as well as the town of Prescott in my thoughts.
