... is so horrible I couldn't even think of a good title for the thread.

So I gave up on a title and started thinking about how to best, and most appropriately, punish the person who thought that this was a good idea.

I haven't watched tv in years due to shitty programming and to many commercials, i listen to cd's in my car because i got tired of 10 minute long commercial breaks. Now they want to stream them directly into my head? Someone must die.

Call me a geek but I think it's ridiculously cool.

But I would bring a little pillow to prop my head up on after hearing it once or twice.

Advertising is getting way out of hand. It's why I got rid of TV and only listen to music on my phone or xm radio. I'm not sure there's an adequate punishment for the people that made that up...

The more i think about this the more it irritates me. I dont remember hardly any dreams as it is. If what i do remember at some point in time is an add for nike or playtex products i'll be up in a tower somewhere.

I will test drive this one and report back. It's intriguing to me not so much for the ads, but on a geeky cool level.

I agree that this is pretty stinkin' cool at the geek level.

Bone conduction is something that been known for (at least) centuries, and transducers designed to work with bone conduction are mid-20th century tech. I don't think there's any new science here, though clearly there is interesting engineering.

But for me this is another excellent example of how so much innovation is amoral. Yes, it's cool. There might be interesting things to do with this tech. But there are just as clearly applications which qualify as evil.
