Thread: The face of the Poor in the USA

I don't disagree, and I doubt many sane people will, but where many disagreements start is with the HOW. Some people will argue that we need to raise taxes, and spend more. That we need a bigger government to prop up the lower classes. Others will say we need to cut spending and lower taxes, so the people in the middle classes have more to spend, and it trickles down. These are just two of probably thousands of options, but you get the point. I don't claim to have the answer, but then again neither do most of the people running for public office it seems.
