Re: Do you really have the right to carry a gun in public?
If I hear somebody bust down my door, I'm turning the corner in the hallway and emptying my mag into them... They won't even have a chance to surrender.
They should of thought about the consequences before breaking into my home.

The unfortunate thing about your scenario, is that most people probably either know they have a right to shoot the criminal and shoot to kill when they run, or they won't shoot at all for moral reasons.
I'd like to think most people would have the state of mind to shoot them in the ass or leg, but I would bet that most cases is a shoot to kill.

Because our fucked up culture has allowed civil suites and people get sued for shooting people in the ass. Not to mention that a dead criminal is much less dangerous than an injured criminal.
If I EVER have to discharge my firearm to protect life or property it will be with the intent to kill the motherfucking dirt bag on the other end of the barrel. Period....

Yes, the civil suite BS is really fucked up and it should be fixed. But you don't believe in second chances? Some guy is down on his luck and robs a house to make ends meet and he deserves to die for that? Even if he's not, I don't think death justifies a non armed robbery.

I won't know if they are armed or not until they are long dead. I'm not stopping firing to find out. They ran out of second chances the second hey encounter me....in my home. Their presence is a lethal threat as far as I'm concerned. That is the price of doing their business. Every job has risks, they decided to take their chances.
