I found several sites with "top 10 stupid things Palin said", but could only find a few that had a "Top 5 quotes that prove Palin is smart". That would appear to put Palin comfortably in the idiot column by 50%!

Seriously though, i always liked Palin, i do think shes intelligent, just not very smart when it comes to national politics. The American people will fall in love with a bowl of shit as long as that bowl of shit reads prepared addresses from a teleprompter/script as close to flawless as possible. So she flubbed a few comments, big deal. The fact that the media blows shit like that out of proportion is a sad indicator if the state of the media IMO. The same goes for Obama... im not gonna nail his incompetent ass to the wall just because he says things like "If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don’t do that, those ships are going to go someplace else." and i don't think the Media should either, everybody knows what he meant. Its obvious the man has at least two maybe three things on his mind at any given time and lacks the skills to compartmentalize like Clinton did.

Nah, she was pretty lost on a wide range of subjects. For someone aspiring to that high of an office, I think being intellectual is important.

I don't think that Obama has shown that he's an idiot, but after the most recent NSA/Snowden stuff, I'd have a hard time saying that I support him.

Really? The man is clever. That's it. Hes not "smart" and hes not "intellectual". As for a sentimental goofball, thats a kind way of saying he can barely keep his emotions in check.

Is being emotional really that bad?

John Boehner cries at the drop of a hat as well and I don't hold that against him.

No, emotions... genuine emotions, are a wonderful thing. Biden only has suppressed anger and hatred IMO. "Walking time bomb" comes to mind when i hear him get all worked up. And that crying at the drop of a hat is all an act and a poor one at that, just as it was with Clinton.

He's one step above being a drooling retard and two above driving a chair with his chin wearing a helmet. Intellectual does not fit in his profile anywhere.

Yes when it comes to the people that are suppose to be making laws that effect everyone else in the country. Emotions should be checked at the door.
