Just watch the Katie Couric interview again if you've forgotten how dim this woman is.
And why do you insist on using these whack job sources? Why nothing mainstream?

Because the mainstream isn't going to report the news on this or validate anything Palin has said. And the source is irrelevant. Only the FACTS are relevant. And the fact is that Palin was derided for saying 5 years ago pretty much exactly what Obama said recently.

The fact is Laz, you only get one chance to make a first impression....and Palin flubbed her first several. Maybe it's just me, but I think seeing Russia from your house gives you foreign relations experience in the same way that watching Law and Order teaches you how to be a cop and/or lawyer. Her appearance to the American public is always going to be influenced by that statement and the dozens of statements like it.
I realize Palin said things that weren't dumb, just like Bachman occasionally said things that weren't batshit crazy, but her smart remarks were FAR outnumbered by her dumb comments.

Sarah Palin and Shelly Bachmann are morons for the same reason. They were nothing more than puppets. Mere mouthpieces for the whackjobs that hired and funded them. I am convinced that they were nothing more than distractions.....like a decoy duck.
I might be unfairly lumping Palin in with Shelly (who is TRULY a whack-job....along with her "pray the gay away" wing-nut of a husband), but they are very similar.
And just to be a quote Nazi......Palin never said she could see Russia from her house. That was on SNL. True that that quote gets attributed to Palin, but also true that most Americans wouldn't be surprised that stupid shit like that could have come from her yapper.

Re: Still think Sarah Palin is an idiot? Well, maybe not so much...
I'm gonna go out on a limb here and guess that you really didn't research her stupid comment to intelligent comment ratio but rather felt comfortable sticking with the MMS view.... that shes an idiot. That said, i did do a quick little search and must agree with you. I found several sites with "top 10 stupid things Palin said", but could only find a few that had a "Top 5 quotes that prove Palin is smart". That would appear to put Palin comfortably in the idiot column by 50%!
Seriously though, i always liked Palin, i do think shes intelligent, just not very smart when it comes to national politics. The American people will fall in love with a bowl of shit as long as that bowl of shit reads prepared addresses from a teleprompter/script as close to flawless as possible. So she flubbed a few comments, big deal. The fact that the media blows shit like that out of proportion is a sad indicator if the state of the media IMO. The same goes for Obama... im not gonna nail his incompetent ass to the wall just because he says things like "If we don’t deepen our ports all along the Gulf — places like Charleston, South Carolina, or Savannah, Georgia, or Jacksonville, Florida — if we don’t do that, those ships are going to go someplace else." and i don't think the Media should either, everybody knows what he meant. Its obvious the man has at least two maybe three things on his mind at any given time and lacks the skills to compartmentalize like Clinton did.Last edited by SpecOpsScott; 08-07-13 at 03:11 PM.
