Robinson (1970) The evolution of American political parties: A sketch of party development

Every one of these are extremely reliable sources and they confirm what I've stated. The parties roles have reversed. It may not be a flip on every single issue, but they have changed overtime into what we see now. These sources provide information about land based taxation, land based voting by party, by agenda. They discuss civil movements and how the republicans at the time were the ones pushing for the social assistance programs. These are all the things that the democrats are doing now. Above all, they discuss the evolution from single source party affiliation to a conservative/liberal democrat or republican.

So please explain, or provide sources that back your claim that what i'm saying here is a gross exaggeration.
Yeah, I always thought that this was pretty much common knowledge.

The Voting Rights Act decision as a clear example of judicial activism

A very interesting article discussing the Voters Rights Act and the Supreme Court. Also has a discussion related to the DOJ suit against Texas - gotta love Texas - paraphrasing "we're only discriminating against Democrats - we don't care what color they are."
