To be back on topic Atheist/Catholic/Muslim/Buddhist/etc or whatever a group's world view the overwhelming majority of them are going to be good people. I do believe that someone who says they act morally only because they believe in an omnipotent entity that will judge them and choose to send them to hell or heaven is either lying or a sociopath. It feels good to be good to others.

Well that is actually a different subject but a good point. Why exactly does it feel good to be good to others? Is it simply an inherited biological trait (seems a bit thin to me but others may argue otherwise) or is it metaphysical evidence of a creator (I believe it is)? I'm not asking for an answer but the question is interesting and goes to the core of any discussion on morals and ethics.

Mice have been shown to show empathy (or something resembling empathy) towards other mice.

Its proof of morals being installed during the growth process and nothing more. That is why you have plenty of people that dont care to help others, plenty of people that like helping others, and plenty of people riding the edge between the two. Of course that leaves out mental disorders that preclude it from happening either way.

If Mental disorders Preclude Morally correct acts from some people, then does satan, from a christian viewpoint have ALL the mental disorders? or what?
