He was there Saturday morning. My girlfriend and I were leaving for a charity thing that afternoon in Baltimore and we were going to go shoot my new AR-15 for a second time and chose not to so we wouldn't feel rushed. He was there at that time, bought a shotgun, shot it for two hours on the range then bought some more shells and left. He passed a federal background check and everything. I can't believe I could have been shooting next to him while he practices for killing people.

I feel really weird about the whole thing.

Your range had better HOPE that they ran a nics check on him. If they didn't you'll be looking for a new range.

Krakkens and shit. stop tempting them.

What was the time frame between buying the gun and shooting? Could this be the exact scenario that got brought up in the gun control thread the other day?

I was looking at D.C.'s gun laws and there is SUPPOSED to be a 10 day waiting period.

I had to do a background check for my pistol and AR Lower. I got them both in my hand same day. Sometimes the background checks don't go through very quickly so it can take a couple days.

Kanati, seriously. I bought a year membership for myself and my girlfriend. Their lawyer was the one that released the statement. They are really nice people and they really look thorough the paper work and remind you that if you knowing lie on anything it is a felony.
