Still no response by Trigger. Just sayin'. You know, France is about 7 hours ahead of Dallas. Maybe you can go back, look at my posts and see what time it was. I'll just keep waiting for proof of bias. Anyone else care to take a stab?

On topic: I don't see what the issue is, looked into everything and just doesn't seem that big of a deal. At it's worst it seems it means banks are cowards about loaning money still.

It's not about whether I'm important at all. Trigger made no less than 4 posts claiming that the article was biased and the site is worthless. Baseless accusations, something that happens pretty regularly around here and something I'm pretty sick of. I'm simply pointing it out, and yes I was being obnoxious about it - because I'm tired of that shit.

Facts are facts. They aren't "your facts" or "my facts". They are just... Facts. Who is reporting them is immaterial. That's why if I see something on MSNBC or Fox News or any other site that covers the facts of an issue I might post it if it's interesting to me and I think it might be interesting to someone else or be a good topic for discussion. I doubt I'm any different than any of you in that regard. Sometimes we all post things that are opinion pieces, which is fine. Maybe the author said something in a way that we ourselves could not. If they weren't expressing an opinion we agree with I doubt anyone would post it, unless the OP includes the argument against.

But there are also plenty of times where those of us who actually start topics start them with a link to the facts. When someone then blithely claims the source or the facts to be biased, it taints the opinion of everyone else who visits that thread and in many cases will eliminate further discussion right there. And many times that is the purpose of such comments in my opinion, especially when it comes to certain people. And I'm sick of it. So I spoke up.

But I'll stop that now since it's pretty clear that the article was absolutely not biased at all.

As for what the big deal is in the article - we have monetized our debt to a point where it's very very dangerous for the stability of the dollar.
