    Re: Shutdown

It's truly like playing wack-a-mole... It's a circular argument, without meaning. They all had a hand in this mess, Obama, the DEMs and the GOP. And the country agrees with me, in fact so far the country has given Obama a pass on this one but we shall see where sentiment heads as this drones on.

And dude - seriously you need to find some less partisan sites, it's getting very, very old. The world is just not that black and white.

The country hated congress long before this. Has little to do with what happened to get to the shutdown though. Anyway I get what you are saying, it's just interesting to me that the senate refuses to pass the budget the house sent them, but somehow the majority of people are saying that the Republicans or the tea party are to blame, when it doesn't jive with the facts. It's a battle of perception.

And the house refuses to pass a budget that doesn't defund the ACA (be it as a combined bill, or going piece by piece funding). Excuse me, they refuse to vote on it, it'd probably pass if they did.

Makes perfect sense to me. Hadn't thought of it this way. Prescient quote:

Note: there is a page 2 of the article, check for the link at the bottom of the page.
Because, as we know, democrats LOOOVVVEEEEE the current sequester level spending.

Not exactly true. They are willing to pass one that defers ACA 1 year.

They ARE to blame. They have done EVERYTHING to repeal Obamacare and continue to get overturned. It is a small population of the House causing all of this. Senate is standing their ground and not bending over for these delusional tea party morons that still believe they represent the populous. They are idiots, and I can't wait for them to lose control of the House.

Couldn't the same statement be made about them shoving ACA down our throats no matter what the cost may be? Plus they should be doing whatever it costs to rid us of that abortion.

By and large, most people have a good grasp on what's gong on here.

Republicans are losing the shutdown blame game
