And obviously those numbers will be well outdated already, had to update 3 times alone in posting it.
Final vote, according to house/C-Span was 285 yea, 144 nay
Republicans: 87 yea, 144 nay, 1 no vote
Democrats: 198 yea, 0 nay, 2 no votes
That may still change a bit, the numbers did change a couple times during the vote, e.g. the democrat who voted nay changed to yea apparently. Be curious to see who voted what whenever that information is published.
Bill passed the Senate 81-18 by the way (again from C-Span).Last edited by Red_Lizard2; 10-16-13 at 09:32 PM.

Re: Shutdown
Tell me about it lol. I work with a ton of them. I got my job 5 months ago, and they've already had to revamp my position twice because I got everything done too damned quick lol. With the workload everyone else at my position does, I would finish by like 11am. Even the guy who trained me seems to spend 1/3 of his day just socializing....not a surprise he's been in the position the longest (close to 2 years now I think, it's a recently created position) and doesn't seem to have any prospects for promotion. He WANTS to get promoted, but a couple others who've been here far shorter times then him have already been promoted, and he can't seem to figure out why....derp.
Shit, now I'm training for the next step up and he's still languishing. Lazy fuckers everywhere

Re: Shutdown
At least using your free speech wasn't a felony with bush. Obama has one hell of a legacy broken health care for everyone, using your 1st amendment right is a felony, 2nd amendment under attack non stop, unprecedented spying on american citizens, unprecedented number of shut downs under a single president, highest contributor to national debt by a single president, first president to every try and lock people out of the national mall, highest cost of vacations, highest attempted prosecutions for treason, highest recorded number of people on welfare, highest number of people on food stamps.
I sure i can go but this is just sad.
