They're all at fault because neither of them pressed the issues in a timely fashion. The dems knew the reps wouldn't buy it and refused to negotiate then and they refuse to negotiate now. Regardless of which one of them is right, it's irresponsible to let it come to this.

They have done a piss poor job explaining their position to the public, and have been wholly unpersuasive in their dealings with the GOP. In general they have done a shitty job of leading - granted that they have to deal with a group of 4 year-olds - but still I expected more. Same goes for the moderate members of the GOP, they are too worried about keeping their jobs to actually do them.
What if the tables were turned??

For starters they underestimated at best, or flat out lied at worst, about the impact of Obamacare, and now that the truth is starting to come out they refuse to compromise on it just like the Reps. If you think only one side is to blame, regardless of which side you choose, then you(the general sense, not just Trigger) are truly naive.
