Depends on the soup, some are pretty bleh but now and then there are some good ones. Granted living somewhere were the temps rarely drop below 40, soup doesn't quite have a love as much as if it was -10 every damn day.

(Clam Chowder is good, Corn Chowder is good sometimes, Tomato Bisque is lovely now and then, and about all I can think of, unless stews count)

Love gumbo, went a couple weeks ago to this place at the casino (yeah, yeah) that had amazing gumbo and pretty good seafood. Well, I thought the gumbo was amazing, never had it in LA so not sure how well it compares but still was sooooooo goood (damnit, now I want more!)
