More lies.
Group behind Obama at Rose Garden speech includes only 3 Obamacare registrants | The Daily Caller
Dammit I'm just tired of being lied to about every damned thing. Can these people do one fucking honest thing? Can we just see things sans spin for ONCE? So maybe Obamacare is a flop. Maybe it has nothing to do with the fucking site itself. Maybe it does. Maybe no one *really* wants this shit or at least not near the numbers we heard were so desperate for a health plan. Will we really ever know? This administration sure as shit won't tell us if it's failing. They'll just lie. Good luck getting straight numbers at the end of the month on this shit. There'll be some excuse and they'll only mention what makes them look good.
And there will remain a never ending line of people who, when they see others complain about the lies, the bullshit, the spin, and the terrible job their side of the aisle is doing, will use the other side's mistakes in the past to justify their guy's behavior instead of demanding change in their own party.
I'm just sick and tired of it, you know?

Re: More lies.
Well it's not just this story, but the whole "has signed up or will sign up" and be helped... It's bullshit. I mean, find some fucking people that signed up. Don't surround yourself with a group and give the propriety that they are all benefitting from Obamacare when they aren't. I'm tired of the games.
AND this stuff the White House is saying about low signups because the website is broken is mostly bullshit too for that matter (I won't elaborate but that story is very overblown at this point, with both sides using it for their own purposes). Obama in his speech lauded the number of hits and signups for accounts on the site, just like I predicted, without going further and identifying the number of people who actually signed up for a plan... Because as I said before, you have to sign up for an account to even see what plan choices you have.
It's all smoke and mirrors. I want to see real time, actual signup data. This is a website. That info should be easy to find and easy to deliver to us on a simple web page.

According to his speech:
And I'm joined today by folks who've either benefited from the Affordable Care Act already, or who are helping their fellow citizens learn about what this law means for them and how they can get covered.

Yeah, I saw that part, and agree(?) that that statement doesn't in any way conflict with the fact that only three people signed up at healthcare.gov. The fact that they went to list the reason that each person attended seems to highlight this fact. There's a lot more to the ACA than healthcare.gov.

Re: More lies.
I can help you with that.
"I'm joined today by folks who have either benefited from the affordable health care act already, or are helping their fellow citizens learn about what this law means for them and how they can get covered."
The fact is no one has benefited from a damn thing. Your not covered until after the beginning of the year. So even if all of them had bought a plan, which only 1 in the group has, you have not benefited.
"the number of people that have visited the site has been overwhelming, which has aggravated some of the underlying problems"
Truth is since its launch it hasn't hit the number of hits youtube gets in one day and they play videos without a problem.
"For the vast majority of Americans -- for 85 percent of Americans who already have health insurance through your employer or Medicare or Medicaid -– you don’t need to sign up for coverage through a website at all. You've already got coverage. What the Affordable Care Act does for you is to provide you with new benefits and protections that have been in place for some time. You may not know it, but you're already benefiting from these provisions in the law."
It doesn't provide you with new benefits unless you have the shittiest plan possible. Which you get what you deserve on that shit. What protections are you provided? I haven't seen any with mine or heard of any from anyone else. Once again what benefits are you receiving right now when your not covered yet? That also begs the question if 85% of the population already had coverage why the fuck did we go thru all of this? For the 15% that were never going to pay their bills to begin with? pfft waste of fucking time.
Birth control is free because of this law? Thats whats he says. Last time i knew anyone could go into a free clinic and get condoms for the last 30 fucking years.
"so insurers have created new health care plans with more choices to be made available through these marketplaces. And as a result of this choice and this competition, prices have come down"
Really? Where did this happen? I would love to see him prove that statement. The prices have been going up since it became law. Well for evey one but kanati. He was excluded from the increase in his state.
Well thats enough copy and paste from the transcript for me. He's full of shit.
