I dont know if funny is the right word. Appropriate would seem to fit imo. Let them name call each other to someone new filling seats and ill be happy about it.

Most assuredly, but no worse than Santorum, or especially no worse than this idiot: Arizona Republican Rep. Barton compares Obama to Hitler

However I will say op success to both sides because their only goal these days is to keep everyone on their side of the room. Well played, and I think I am going to start buying stock in rose colored glasses as they appear to be in high demand around these parts.
Now in fairness, knowing who Hitler was, is a pretty big accomplishment for rural Arizona.

Also agree Grayson went too far, though that seems like someone he'd do. I may have him confused with someone else though, but I thought he was one of the ones known for saying really stupid (maybe over the line, I remember stupid) stuff? I lose track of the idiots in congress and the senate though unless they do it all the time (Sheila Jacksom, though also could be because she's often posted in here, in the past at least0

The response from Grayson defending his disgusting actions reminded me of the fact that there are multiple groups out there dedicated to infiltrating tea party meetings and protests and yelling racist slurs and holding racist signs in an effort to wreck the party and ruin it's image.

Even the guy who owns www.teaparty.org is one of these people who doesn't represent any actual tea party organization but posts horrible slurs and imagery that will make these activists look bad. The owner of teaparty.org has been kicked out of multiple tea party events for his views which are absolutely shunned by this who actually represent the movement.

So you might want to be careful before claiming the tea party is racist. Liberal activist groups have been busted multiple times running this game...

Bottom line, the tea party is a mess right now because of people who seek to distort their message.

I give you the point that there are liberals working to undermine the tea party using unscrupulous methods. But I honestly think that the real problem is with factions inside the existing loose framework of organization - not outsiders.

Well I get your point but I also think that's like saying if someone with a NAMBLA website is an outspoken Democrat then NAMBLA must be a faction inside the Democrat party, know what I mean?

Until the Tea Party actually becomes a real party and not a movement or until they finally take the reigns of the Republican Party this will continue to be a problem for them.
