Re: How to Communicate Clearly and Respectively (on the internet)

Thanks again for all the great advice...except White who is obviously jealous and trying to get all the attention.

I would also like to add that not everyone is going to be friends in this community. Of course we all want to be civil and treat each other with respect, but sometimes I find myself trying to be friends with everyone and wanting to be liked by everyone and that is just not possible. We all think differently and were brought up differently. And when you do happen to get in that argument with that person you know you will never be friends with, the best solution is to walk away. That's saying a lot for me and I know that is the right decision, but being young and having a big penis, it's hard for me to walk away from winless fights. -sarcasm-

To add to that and expand on what Dread and Ranger said about trying to convince others, I have been working on walking away from discussions where I feel the need to jam my opinion down another persons throat. To be honest I think there are a lot of people who can work on this, but it's just a really easy thing to do on a video game forum with egos flying. I know Enf specifically doesn't like when I say this, but it's a fact, we are all entitled to our opinion. Yes, the matter in which you express your opinion can go a long way, but just because someone is ramming their own opinion down my throat doesn't mean I'm going to sway my opinion and vis versa. I can't say that I've ever seen someone in this community change their opinion just because another member relentlessly argued their opinion. That usually only changes with facts, evidence, etc.

Sorry, basically saying this stuff for my own good, but also to get others opinions.

Opinions are like penises. We all have them, and everyone wants to whip it out on the internet and compare. Just don't ram it down someone's throat.

I wanted to say something, but then this thread would have gone overboard. lol It had to do with ramming and penises.
