Climate change is definitely a reality...but it's cyclical. The earth goes through periods of warming and periods of cooling. Carbon emissions and pollution definitely contribute to their respective climate zones, but not to the extent that the ice caps are any where close to disappearing. They will probably get smaller during warmer cycles, but then larger during colder ones.

From what I've read the vast majority of climate scientist believe climate change is due to human activity, with a handful of scientist disagreeing. I think someone here once posted a great video that went over the whole debate pretty much. Why most scientist think its because of us, the money being made, why people don't believe it(HURRR IT GETS COLD IN THE WINTER) and why the actual scientist disagree with it. Anyone know what I'm talking about, maybe I just stumbled on it elsewhere.

The entire man-made global warming thing is foolishness with no basis in reality, propagated by people who stand to gain from it; scientists fishing for grant and other money to keep their livelihoods alive and private investors who look to exploit a new energy market.
Al Gore told a lie and made millions off of it. Meanwhile his own estate emits more carbon than some small third world nations. Hypocrisy at its finest.
