Idaho Hockey Fans Suing Arena Over Beer Prices - ABC News
A handful of Idaho hockey fans sued a Boise arena on Tuesday, saying they were duped into thinking a $7 beer contains more brew than a $4 beer.
The lawsuit says CenturyLink Arena, home of the Idaho Steelheads hockey team, defrauded customers by charging $3 more for a tall, narrow cup advertised as a "large" that actually holds the same amount of beer as the shorter, wider cup described as a "small."
Arena spokesman Mike Campbell said he hadn't yet seen the lawsuit and can't comment.
Four fans filed the suit Tuesday in Boise's 4th District Court against Block 22 LLC, which does business as CenturyLink Arena. Brady Peck, Michele Bonds and William and Brittany Graham are seeking $10,000 in damages.

Re: Hockey Fans Screwed!
I dunno. Seems like you'd easily sell 3,000 "large" beers over the course of a couple minor league hockey games.
Also seems like weaseling out of fraud for $10,000 is cheap at twice the price.
... or maybe this is a case of caveat emptor. It's a free market. Just because the cup is large doesn't mean it contains a large amount of beer. It's not my fault that some of you people are easily fooled - if you don't want to be a victim of deceptive packaging then don't be stupid.
You may not believe it, but a lot of design and engineering effort went into creating the "Large" cup. That cup looks bigger, but doesn't hold any more liquid. You think it's easy to make something like that? Are you saying that I don't have a right to recover my investment money by charging more for a well-designed product? We're risk takers and job creators! Also, the "Large" cup has more plastic in it than the small cup. It costs more! Are you saying I can't charge more for a product that costs more?
Lawyers ain't the problem. It's the damned communists and their crazy ideas about what's "fair". I saw it right there in the video - they were redistributing the beer. If they have their way, everyone will get a small beer.
EVERYONE GETS A SMALL BEER! NO ONE CAN HAVE A LARGE BEER!
This is truly the end of times.

Or shot-glass sized beers. :)
I dunno, it's not like you don't have a point. They don't deserve $10,000.
But come on... is there nothing else here other than what these two Idaho hockey fans deserve? How much headway are they gonna get by going to the concessions office and demanding $12 in refunds for 4 beers?

Just got a Shiner Bock with my BBQ. Surprise #1. My father (who normally disallows use of alcohol and other stuff) bought for me. Surprise #2. It came in a freaking huge Margarita glass that contained the entire bottle. Surprise #3. Too full from venison chili and chips/queso to finish it, so my father actually tried to use peer pressure to get me to chug it.
Anywho, enjoyed a giant glass of beer and was charged a fair price. Thank you, Texas. Suck it, Idaho. Not that my family doesn't love you; please let us keep the ranch. (not the same type of ranch you're thinking of, Guyver)enf-Jesus its been like 12 minutes and you're already worried about stats?! :-P
Bigdog-Sweet home Alabama you are an idiot.
