I am curious to see how such laws will adapt to newer weapon types, for example railguns. Not really. Musket loads were separate and you could put them all in the same bag and throw it around without igniting it. Moving on to self contained rounds they really haven't changed much at all in this regard.

I understand your point on classifying ammo. My response was more limited to this type of weapon system. What your talking about is broadening the scope of ammo like many broaden the scope of a weapon of mass destruction. Ammunition is casing/shells wmd's are chemical biological and nuclear weapons. Now broaden the scope and everything can physically be ammunition and a wmd. Im certain i could run around town with a branch and meet the broadened term of wmd. Not meant toward you but damn libtards try to make people think everything that has a clear definition is far more encompassing then it really is.
