I didn't intend to imply any particular viewpoint on the poor or the homeless, but put it in here knowing that it would likely be taken that way. I was impressed by the idea for the commercial.

Not really....because if the video that Mafiaso posted is real and I bet it is, those people wouldn't give money to any homeless person..be it a scammer or a legitimately homeless person.

I don't know what you mean by "real". That video illustrated an imbalanced dichotomy, and I think that effect they show is real. It's easy to feel goodwill towards people who are having a tough time, but it's harder to actually offer them some of your own resources.

But you're talking as if the people in that video were unknowing participants, and it feels to me like the entire thing was scripted and that the people were actors.
