That doesn't really make much of a difference when they are producing it to sell it. And also, they don't currently produce MORE ethanol than the U.S., but their product is cheaper for them to produce.

How can that be when you said they were kicking our ass? If we're producing more i wouldn't call that kicking our ass. As for them doing it cheaper well no shit. Everything is cheaper there.

Because they are harvesting sugarcane instead of corn. I am no expert on harvesting, but in a nutshell:

The U.S. only recently passed Brazil in ethanol production, but Brazil is still #2, with their product being easier to harvest and "pound for pound", as the article states, can produce more energy than corn.

I still wouldn't want to live there. I can just play through Max Payne 3 again to get my fill of living in Brazil. That game was awesome, by the way.

Yeah i understand they do sugar and we do corn. There is an obvious reason for that. Sugar doesn't grow well in to many places here. Recently was just shy of a decade ago. Yeah max pain was a good game. Good memory on that one i forgot about it.
