No knock raid

Prosecutor: Marvin Louis Guy Should Face Death Penalty For Killing Officer

So long story short, some informant fingers this guy for being a cocaine trafficker. Police proceed with a no knock raid. One cop is shot and killed, one is injured, and two others shot in their vests (or other protective gear).

They are seeking the death penalty and he's being held on 4.5 million dollars bond. Oh... and they didn't find any drugs at all.

Someone wakes me up from a sound sleep crawling in my windows with guns, they are getting shot too. This bullshit has to stop. Good luck on that guy getting a fair trial in Killeen, TX too.

The only good thing that might come out of this is that if he DOES get a fair trial and has a good lawyer, precedent might be set to end these no knock raids that are getting people killed (usually the homeowner).

If he gets a good lawyer and not a lame PD.

castle doctrine would hold here with a decent attorney. If he was awoken from dead sleep to the sound of the door being broke in with no announcement or knock of any kind declaring its the police I would think a jury would side with the homeowner especially given the lack of evidence after the fact.
