I was expecting a rant no matter how it was received. I don't doubt the case that there is something unjust going on here, but I have trouble focusing on local injustices without at least considering that they're the children of a much larger injustice.

The ranchers lives matter comment was a little bit of sarcasm. As for who is "right" in this case, from the start not just the shooting, that is open to a lot of interpretation.

They released video of the shooting, and my personal opinion is it was a clean shoot. The guy reaches into his jacket at least twice after exiting the vehicle.

Yeah, and he almost ran over that agent as well before slamming into that snow bank. He didn't seem very compliant. The others got out of the car slowly and their demeanor wasn't erratic, but the first guy definitely didn't have the demeanor of compliance

I heard someone on the internet refer to them as the "white lives matter dildo caliphate" and it gave me quite the chuckle.

That is a gross simplification of the issue but I'm shocked these guys made it as long as they did without the feds killing them all. I think the fbi and sheriffs should be recognized for bringing in 6 armed militant men who attempted to run a roadblock with only one casualty. It's a tough situation and there could have been a thousand different ways this could have gone ten times worse.

The agent moved out from behind the vehicle toward the moving vehicle as it was heading into the snowbank. Apparently his mommy never told him stepping in front of a moving vehicle could end badly. Didn't have the demeanor of compliance? First thing he did was throw his hands up. That agent is a fucking idiot running in front of a vehicle like that.
