I'm on both sides of the fence btw...
I'm firmly with DG in that the people were idiots. I've been to Orlando once... gator country ONCE. And I know that big assed dinosaurs will eat people. Period. You don't fuck around near water that may (WILL) have gators in it. Also you CANNOT gator proof a body of water. Not going to do it. The people swimming/wading in the water where there are clearly posted NO SWIMMING signs (or sings as DG likes to call them) are IDIOTS. FUCKTARDS. Even if they are gator-ignorant, they are blatantly breaking posted rules.
On the flip-side... Disney staff have to know about the gators. And as such they should never encourage or ignore people breaking the rules and playing in the water. They need to better police the shoreline. They need to put up "GATORS WILL FUCKING EAT YOUR ASS" signs. They are selling a fantasy and giant chain link fences around their fantasy polynesian resort beach doesn't sell the fantasy. But they can certainly afford to pay a few people 15 bux per hour to beat the shit out of someone that breaks the rules and tries to enter the water.deathgodusmc liked this post

Agreed. Disney is the largest employer world wide i believe with over 63000 employees. I know they have boats that patrol all day long. Even so no court down here will award money for something like this unless you had it on a leash. Took this when i was doing a job at shades of green on disney property. He's just a little guy but i know i've seen 14 footers out there.
