Complaining about the latest Star Trek being an SJW takeover seems silly. Star Trek has always been very liberal. It's been a core aspect of the show since the very beginning.

I wouldn't go as far as to say it's a complete SJW takeover but it's definitely a little more heavy handed in this show than in previous iterations of the franchise.

I find the main character incredibly off-putting and extremely unlikable, but the fact that every other character on the show also hates her and she receives ridicule and punishment for her behavior makes me think that this was intentional.

Episode 3 really takes things up a notch and I like the direction the show appears to be headed.
