The point is you can throw all the "logic" and "reason" you want around, and people, by nature, still make illogical and unreasonable decisions. Expecting anything different is not very logical and reasonable.
Also, what is an acceptable age? Acceptable by whom? You, them, the government, the general population? What if your acceptable age is 15, but your son/daughter thinks it is 13? Then what? Are you going to use logic and reason on them? Well, based on the previous posts made by some we can't control our sexual desires, so when your child feels it is right, regardless of their age or your desires, then it IS right.
