Weirdos are lurking in the bushes regardless. Doesn't matter WHAT the organization is. Sports, scouts, clubs... Several years ago a huge scandal was uncovered where a hockey coach molested several well-known NHL players when they were in junior hockey. The scouting program has far more positives than negatives, as many Eagle Scouts here at TTP will attest. Both my kids are in Cub Scouts now, and my oldest will cross over into Boy Scouts next year.

Really digi? I know you are not one of those freakout parents.
This situation is similar to the tea party not wanting their cause tainted by some right wing extremists.
If you keep that scary parent mentality up your kids will never leave the house.
I was in boy scouts made eagle and nothing ever happened. As a matter of fact I will be signing up my son up soon for cub scouts.

Well something interesting which what freaked me out.
But apparently since the 1920's the Boy Scouts of America have been keeping "files" on "tabs" so speak on people like this.
So for almost 90+ years this has been issue.
Really?
That is like alot of govt's including our own are thinking of brining criminal charges against those in the catholic regarding the multiple abuse scandals.
There is rumor going around the pope was planning on canceling his visit to the UK/Ireland because of the potiential legal concerns brewing in that country."And the hits just keep on coming." - Tom Cruise, A Few Good Men
