Congress and SIPRNET
WOW. BAD IDEA.
+1 reason to READ every word of every bill.

For those that do not know...congress or any elected official do not go through the normal security clearance methods everyone else does. Appointed officials are vetted but elected are not as evidenced by many officials having extensive foreign contacts that would preclude them from access to many programs.

Relax. SIPRNET is only classified at the "Secret" level. No Top Secret stuff on there. Though I am sure they would like to be on JWICS as well though.
But I agree that they fail on the "need to know" part of the clearance for the most part. On the plus side, in places that do not meet open-storage requirements, SIPR can be quite a pain in the ass to use anyway.Sleep, eat, conquer, meditate, repeat.
