I saw a study (cant recall where) that claimed that NPR was not left-biased because the people they talk to and the people they quote are roughly evenly split between R's and D's. It isn't that their SOURCES are liberal or not, it's the way the news is reported. The editorial comments made by the hosts. Those things dont show up on surveys. If guests and quotes were the measure then FOX & MSNBC would be considered neutral, but they aren't - because of the editorial nature in which the news is reported.

MSNBC is more of the left's Fox (in fact the two networks are quite similar, just muchhh different on their ideas). The best for things without slant (or very very little) is still C-Span. Of course few people watch C-Span because it is boring as fuck, what without all the loony crazy people ranting at you and such. Love me some of the Washington Journal program, except it being on from 4-7am here (though can be seen on the c-span website)
