Re: Creationism/Intelligent Design
You stated in you post that the scientific community studies intelligent design. From that statement, one could only discern that they must consider it a valid theory. Otherwise, why would they study it?
Or did you just make that up in order to lend false credibility to id/creationism?

Re: Creationism/Intelligent Design
exactly. until creationism comes up with something that is measurable and testable, it's not science. science is the action of measuring and testing theories to 'evolve' better and better theories, that's all it is. science is NOT simply creating theories, that's only 1 step in the process.
if you can't create a theory that is measurable and testable, then it's not part of the scientific process. teaching creationism in science class is like teaching cultural acceptance in math class. they're simply different topics.
until the religious world can produce a measurable and testable theory, the debate about it being science is really a colossal waste of time.Last edited by (2)manno; 08-03-10 at 12:46 PM.

Re: Creationism/Intelligent Design
People will always have there opinions, regardless of what evidence, theory, or hypothesis you throw at them. To be perfectly honest, i was a die hard Catholic until a few years ago. I'm still open to the aspect of religion because, i feel, it allows people to search for the divine and the answers to everything, while giving them something to believe in. Schools should look at and teach both aspects of this equation, being that none have truly been proven as fact.
