I bet most of you guys did not know that the Burka is not mention anywhere in the Koran.
This was something made up be clerics. There is no religious reason for covering a women’s head.
It started when Mohammad, married a nine year old girl and was ashamed and made all women cover their heads.
It has no basis what so ever in the Koran. It has nothing to do with reigious rights at all.

I think Consultant nailed what I was clumsily trying to say. They need to have the right to wear whatever they want,but also need to tolerate the id process for the security of everyone.

As for private businesses here in the US (such as banks)....isn't it their call? Don't they reserve the right to refuse service to anyone?

Is it the majority? If so then maybe the law should be passed but if not then they need to rethink what the hell they are doing.

I don't give the French credit for much but I'm gonna take a giant leap of faith and assume that they have such stats and that may be the reason for the law ??
