There shouldn't be a need to move though. Silly South American country ahead of the 'numbah 1 country' in terms of basic civil rights.

Other than a rather weak stance on rape, admittedly, the women of Argentina enjoy a very analogous level of freedom and equality (or inequality) as women in the US do. Women in the US also earn disproportionately less and hold fewer skilled jobs, yet have higher rates of college attendance and degrees than men.

While abortions are illegal in Argentina, contraceptive use is very high and is even provided free of charge by the government. It's not really a limitation on the rights of women so much as it's a different philosophy; "you can't have an abortion, so be careful instead, and here are the tools to do that". This, I believe, is probably a better idea than allowing abortions and teaching abstinence, as we do in the US. Not only does it save (potential) lives, it also teaches a healthy respect and a sense of responsibility in reproductive efforts.
