'If Hizbullah strikes, we hit Lebanon'

The IDF will attack Lebanese government institutions if Israel is again subjected to rocket attacks, Defense Minister Ehud Barak said in an interview with The Washington Post published Sunday.

He told the newspaper that since the Lebanese goverment is allowing Hizbullah to rearm, "we will not run after each Hizbullah terrorist or launcher. . . . We will see it as legitimate to hit any target that belongs to the Lebanese state, not just to Hizbullah."

Lebanon supports them, shelters them, protects them, and arms then...

So seems to me like the right choice.

Israel has delivered a secret warning to Syrian President Bashar Assad that it will respond to missile attacks from Hezbollah, the militant Lebanese-based Islamist group, by launching immediate retaliation against Syria itself.

In a message, sent earlier this month, Israel made it clear that it now regards Hezbollah as a division of the Syrian army and that reprisals against Syria will be fast and devastating.

It follows the discovery by Israeli intelligence that Syria has recently supplied long-range ballistic missiles and advanced anti-aircraft systems to Hezbollah.

“We’ll return Syria to the Stone Age by crippling its power stations, ports, fuel storage and every bit of strategic infrastructure if Hezbollah dare to launch ballistic missiles against us,” said an Israeli minister, who who was speaking off-the-record, last week.

No but if the gov's of the aforementioned countries denounced and expelled Hizbullah militants that could help save some of their citizens wouldn't you think.

Yeah, but the civilians aren't "playing the game"....... They are just trying to live their lives, and seem to want nothing to do with Hizbullah or the IDF....

Just like the Israeli people.....who have been PURPOSELY targeted.

Responding to the missile launches,after the fact doesn't seem to be working. What are they supposed to do?
