Well it looks like the withdrawl is getting underway. Upon reading the article, it's refreshing to get an honest opinion from a member of the military on how this isn't some 'cut and run' move. That line was repeatedly used by numnuts like Hannity and O'Reilly when Obama discussed the subject during his campaign. Here's a brief snippet from the article.

"I think it's probably more challenging leaving, responsibly drawing down, than it is getting here, because you just have to figure out where everything is and getting it out of here. Are there enough airplanes, ships, containers, and do we have enough time to do that and meet the president's mandate?" said Col. David F. Demartino, who is responsible for infrastructure and support services at Balad, which is home to 25,000 troops and civilians.

Halliburton cashed in long ago and bush/Cheney have fat pockets.

I wonder how McDonalds will hold up in Iraq after the troops are gone.....
