Well, I didn't say others weren't guilty as well, but Murdoch really started pushing the ideologically-driven, in this case right-wing, opinionated "news." You see it in the NY Post and The Sun, as well. Then others tried to mimic it, although no one else has gone as far as Murdoch has. Turner may have started the 24/7 news idea, but Murdoch really bastardized it.
