    What makes it so hard to believe that family owned farms can produce enough eggs to sustain it's surrounding communities? It was done before. Why can't it be done now? How do you figure that costs would go up? And so what? I don't see how the prices would inflate so much. To add that not only is quality better, but it costs less to transport. I would bet that it would cost less to buy fresh produce for the week's worth of dinners than it would cost for someone to eat at any of the major fast food place for a week's worth of dinners. So that is lame as shit excuse that we would be starving the poor if corporate farming were to be eliminated.

    I agree with you here... Of course the GOV (fed or local) might pose problems in some locales.
