No what shows ignorance is what you just responded. Read it again slowly.

"Seeing as everyone is innocent until proven guilt in a court of law they cant really arrest guilt people can they."

100 percent agree. If you guys read my posts, I said everything I said without knowing thier departments SOP's. Most agency's require you to use all parts of the force continum leading to a taser....his department may be different, and if it is, he was justified....most other departments, no way in hell.

Would I have tazed him? Not a chance in hell...From the begining, I was simply stating that the cops were able to articulate thier case, it wasnt blatent excessive force, again, depending on his departments SOP's....
What everyone has been saying is that in THIS CASE it was not necessary.

This ^, I said something along those lines earlier in the thread.

But......do I agree with the actions in this instance? No. Not at all.

Justified. Don't be belligerent and irrational. Otherwise it just strengthens the case that you are suicidal.

On another note, I have been on two calls where people have died from tasers. They are not without risk.

    Very True - non-lethal <> safe
