The way this was handled? No. Dolphins can come about to SeaWorld by other means than a bloody free for all. And so can their precious meat, if it is needed so badly. I mean, did you not see how the event was carried out? You don't agree that it the capture of Dolphins could be done in a more humane or civilized manner? Cultural tradition or not, it is fucking disgusting and as the title of the thread states, it makes me "sometimes outright hate human beings" for being so inhuman.

Last i checked death is death. For me personally "humane killing" is an oxymoron. So, as I said, I know you work in a restaurant, and want to start your own, do you currently, and do you intend to, serve meat at them? I know the answer to both is yes, so does going to work every day make you hate being human?

No. But the places that I source my meat from don't corral their animals in a corner and ensue bloody slaughter. Culinarily speaking, a happy animal is a tasty animal. I don't source from factory farms, our animals are well taken care of and free roaming. They aren't stressed, which shows in the quality of the meat. So no, being at work doesn't make me "hate human beings" some of the things that I witness on my way to work SOMETIMES makes me feel like that.

Don't get me wrong, I see many things on these very forums that make me hate human beings. My point being if you say you treated an animal well right up to the point you ran a rod through its brain, or ripped its head from its body, is like saying I treated my wife well right up to the point I cheated on her with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. I am sure she, and thus they, don't really give a shit at that point.
