In reality though, "hard" is used as a synonym for "extreme," so it's "hard left" and "hard right." The more you know.

So what is news about the "hard right" hating Obama? I mean in 2007-2008 I could of told you the "hard right" would hate Obama. Why would that matter anyways? The only people trying to appeal to the "hard right" is well, the "hard right."

Though I am curious how the "left" is "soft" and the right is "hard"?
