perhaps - though I didn't read it as their opposition to Snachez's firing per se, but more along the lines of "yet another instance of rampant sensitivity being used to fire someone". On which point, I can agree there, shits getting ridiculous. But, other than that, glad Sanchez is gone

I never really cared for Rick Sanchez. Its program was borderline uninformative plus I dont see how New's Channel use things like Twitter and Facebook as sources of information in some of their news story. Report the facts, stop basing your reports on everything you find the interent. Make a phone, do a face to face interview and do some true investigative reporting and face checking.

Today there rumors of violent incident going to take place at local high school as prompted police to lock down a school based on sources from Billy Joe's facebook page from Bumsville High and teamplayergaming.com.

How about contacting the school district, the main office at the high school and the public affairs office for the local pd or sheriff rather then on air speculate whats going on.

Let's see, one of the international faces of your news station makes bigoted remarks, and a private company is wrongheaded in firing that personality? How so?
