Its sort of like "small government" or stop "government interfering with our lives," when people say be "more like europe" its selective. They aren't saying "Lets abolish all your free speech!!" but want things like universal healthcare etc. Similar to many of the "small government" people in the public eye, still want things like the Patriot Act, or Real ID.
