If you come over here and see how most Americans act while overseas, either as tourists or more permanently like me, you would understand why they think that of us. Americans are often stereotyped as the Peter Griffin (Family Guy) character. Unfortunately, a lot of Americans I see here in Europe live up to that stereotype.

It's a cultural difference. Believe me, there are cultural norms that European tourists exhibit that Americans find equally distasteful. While I think that it's important, in both directions, for visitors to try to accommodate the customs of their host countries, a bit of understanding goes a long way.

No, I don't think you understand. In a large group of people, Americans are easy to spot. They are very loud. Even before the language registers, the volume is the first giveaway.

LOL you wish. I agree with wicked. If your in another country then you stand out in a crowd. Beleive me when i say being loud is a tourist thing. I dont know why but whenever people go away from their home they automatically become loud fuckers. I dont know how many times i've said i get it your from england or france or japan. Everyone does it and i wish i knew why.
