Voted at 7:30 est. The woman assisting us with the new voting machines told me i was number 500.... and that they have never had 500 votes at that precinct. Also there was a line out the door behind me, maybe another 30 people. The word was from a friend of mine that works various polls in the district was, "The turnout is VERY heavy".

i didnt bother NM govener race the democrat diane danish has been under bill richardson to long and i cant bring myself to vote for a repbulican

Not in my precinct, at least. Turnout here was "meh" at best. But then again, where I live there are no real big or hotly contested elections. The biggest one was governor, but everyone already knew what that outcome was going to be. We have no Senate elections, and our Democratic Rep is extremely safe. And then the local issues won't bring out the crowds, so that's what I saw.

voted this morning, now waiting for some results on our congressional race, governor, and the propositions (Already know McCain is going to win the Senate race, sadly)
