It's Voting Day!
It's Voting day folks, and the two sides are squaring off on the field.
On the left in Blue, you have the Democrat Demons, and on the right, in red, there are the Republican Grim Reapers. And we hope to get started as soon as the TSA agents finish searching the enemy combatants.
The Demons have a worried look on their faces, as they have lost the enthusiasm of their fans, or could it be the look on the Reapers faces as they got off of the bus, where they were made to ride in the back? However, the Demons have hired additional Trial Lawyers onto their defensive team, and they've vowed to dispute all close calls. Either way, this promises to be a heated contest for sure.
We see the two Head Coaches, Pelosi and Boehner, glaring at each other from across the field, each of them making threatening gestures with over-sized gavels.
As we watch, the Supreme Court Judges are debating over what coin to use in the toss, a Kennedy half-dollar or a Lincoln penny, but the female judges are insisting on a Susan B Anthony coin, and accusing the others of being sexist.
Earlier, there was some scuffling in the stands as fans sitting on the far left side of the bleachers were throwing Acorns at the fans on the far right, and getting soggy tea-bags lobbed at them in return, while everyone in the center was ducking and hoping they wouldn't get hit, or have to take sides.
All the mainstream media is here, and they came loaded for Bear, so it came as no suprise when they each took shots at a Fox that strayed onto the field. Even the President got into the action by aiming a Tele-prompter post as though it were a gun. He has been reported as saying he would support legislation to ban Fox from all future events.
It promises to be a long and dirty fight, with plenty of low blows or "Lewinsky's" and a couple of heads getting stomped. There will no doubt be arm twisting, and finger pointing as well, and we will continue to watch as the action unfolds.
Meanwhile, the President is poised to throw out the first veto... but first the elocution will be delivered by the esteemed Reverend from Chicago.
All in good fun, don't get your panties in a wad if you don't like it.Last edited by RagunCajun; 11-02-10 at 01:10 PM.
