Re: Guess what is celebrated today in Iran
Couple things here (well, more than a couple, but I will focus on three):
If you are self-taught, what is the source material that you use to teach yourself? Did not a man write it?
Second, ethical reasoning can, and in fact does, stand apart from religion. "Is something good because God commands it, or does God command it because it is good?"
Third, the average Jewish Californian is not "ultra liberal". Any mainstream liberal in America is going to be near center in the world political spectrum. We can do better.

Yea, actually they're the source of the leftist extremists who hate Israel yet live there just to fight against it. They're the faithless Jews by birth not by religion, when religion is exactly what makes him Jewish in the first place. They're the one who try to tell you God wants you to make peace and divide the land regardless of the Torah saying "Cursed is he who moves the boundary of his fellow countryman." I told BigHub how it is, so I will probably be banned. So this might be my last post. Oh well, I can waste my time elsewhere, or actually start doing what I need to do.

I think we all know we have a couple crazys who play and post here.
For some its a birth defect, some its their upbringing and some its related to substance abuse.
For the folks who are "out there" like Randy Quaid out there. When you get to the pearly gates and St. Peter points to the stairs going down, don't be surprised why."And the hits just keep on coming." - Tom Cruise, A Few Good Men
