First of all, HUD didn't say that ACORN wasn't "legit". They just said that their accounting wasn't in order., many banks law firms, investment agencies, Mom and Pop grocery stores, etc occasionally have their books not in order, does that also make them corrupt or not "legit"?... HUD isn't claiming, as you are, that they are corrupt. Unless I missed that somewhere, care to point it out for me that HUD says that ACORN was illegit and corrupt?

Why not do the honorable thing and wait till something big actually happens instead of trying to extrapolate out.

Have you ever worked in the low income industry I have and industry is what it is and as with all industry it's about profit margin. While the concept of helping the less fortunate is a honorable idea in reality honor is not the foremost thought in the minds of the corp's that operate in said industry therefore I do no dishonor by pointing to their inequities or mismanagement in accounting.
