Mom Accused In Fistfight With Student - Video - KPRC Houston

I am kind of lost.

The 18yr old kid started the physical fight as soon on the video.

How come she is arrested? Wouldn't this be an act of self defense?

I mean don't actions speak louder then words?

I'm assuming the mother is the one in yellow? If so she should be able to press charges. The girl in question is 18, so wouldn't she be in the same boat, legally? The girl also pissed me off "I don't care if I'm 18, I'm a STUDENT!" I don't care if you're a student, YOU'RE 18.

exactly and in Texas getting in fight at school even in Jr High you can get arrested. Even parents can be held legally responible.

I'm not sure Hawg but the yellow one seemed more patronly in comparison so I went with her = mom.

Also I feel like the girl is just trying to gain sympathy being all "I don't want to show my face, the bruises and scratches are horrid!!!!!!"

ya mothers the one in yellow, you can hear that the assailant has voice with a very different pitch than the one heard in the "student" interview.
