Maybe you missed the part that I quoted, where the taxpayers are going to be on the hook for 25% of the construction of a religious theme park. BTW, "that group" that you mention, cares much more about not having to fund religious anything and don't appreciate it shoved down our throats. Maybe that is why "that group" is paying attention to this.....

It is what it is. Organized religion is nothing more than a for-profit business. Like all churches, these 'theme' parks serve 3 purposes.

1. Make a profit.

2. Solidify the existing customer base.

3. 'Recruit' new customers.

There's nothing holy about any of this.

When are we going to stop making such broad, troll-like generalizations?

1. Not all Rednecks are Christians.
2. Not all Christians are Rednecks (see Obama)
3. Not all churches fit trigger's description. Enough do to be a problem, but not all.

Humanity is screwed if those who purport to be trying to "progress" it fall into the same hate-mongering patterns of those they oppose.

Be an individual, think for yourself, consider situations as they come and dont fall victim to simple-minded prejudice, even if it is comfortable as an old shoe.

Mine wasn't a troll-like generalization. Churches fall into two money making categories. Either the profits are funneled to a money grubbing preacher or to the catholic church.

And Consultant, quit trying to educate the masses. You're not that widely followed as you would lead yourself to believe.
