You simply know not of what you speak. How many church finance committees have you served on? Zero. (and before you ask...I've served on one) Your contention that all non-catholic churches exist to fatten the pockets of a preacher is ludicrous. Your religious experience is about as rich as my experience living in Europe. Your ignorance is astounding but not surprising. You have no perspective. You know what you've read, which is probably limited to a handful of articles around the web. I wonder...do you even care what the truth is? Will you ever...I don't know...investigate the average American church? No...you won't. You are content in your puddle of mud. There's plenty to sling and you have plenty of company. I'll be back in a little while to see what you've Googled and regurgitated about American church finances. I'm sure it will be breath-taking and informative. In the mean time, I'm going to head on over to France - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and learn everything there is to know about your country of residence. Surely it will be as helpful as all your experience in church finance.

And suffice it to say that I'm sure we both have our "followers"...yours and mine just differ in motive.
